Vascular Breakthroughs was founded in 2012 by Dr. Paul J. Gagne to provide clinical trial support services for a busy Vascular Surgery practice. The goal, at its’ inception, was to provide a research infrastructure that would enable physicians not affiliated with an academic institution to take part in cutting edge research. The organization has helped to put new technologies in the hands of physicians working in the community, improving access to novel treatments to the patients living in these communities.
